Cubs
The Cub Scout Pack consists of members who are aged 8 – 10½ and are split into smaller groups called Sixes. Cubs take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging. A Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors. Camps and holidays are some of the most memorable events of the year for Cubs.
Meeting Night
Thursday 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
The Cub Scout Pack is led by the Cub Scout Leader (Akela) and assisted by at least one Assistant Cub Scout Leader.
Aims
During their time as a Cub Scout, they will be involved in activities and games which will enable them to earn challenge awards, which in themselves form the basis of the programme. There are also a number of activity badges which Cubs can earn at Pack meetings and at home. All Cub Scout activities are based on each child doing their best and a recognition that the level of achievement will vary between individuals.
Uniform
The Cub Scout uniform consists of; a dark green sweatshirt, dark red and navy blue Group necker, navy blue activity trousers and a dark green polo shirt. More information can be found within the starter pack linked above.
